Military Forces in the Can Vuong Movement in Late 19th Century North Central Vietnam

In the Can Vuong movement in particular, the struggle movement of our people against the French colonialist invasion in the late 19th century in general, insurgent armies formed, developed and operated throughout the country. The military forces, an organizational form of administrative-military units, were usually prefecture, district, sometimes canton or village, or even the province which was built and developed and contributed to promote the Can Vuong movement in the four northern provinces of Central Vietnam Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa.
