Vietnam - India relations in the course of history

Having formed thousands of years ago and experienced ups and downs of history, the Vietnam - India cooperative relationship more and more develops strongly thanks to the trust, mutual support and extensive and comprehensive cooperation promotion in all fields. India becomes a Comprehensive Strategic Partner of Vietnam, with the relationship considering “as clear as a cloudless sky”. The article seeks to clarify some traces of Vietnam - India relations since the two countries began to have specific connections in the modern period until before the Doi Moi period (1986).
