Reject distorted arguments of hostile forces on guidelines and policies for men of revolutionary merit

Abstract

“When drinking water, remember its source”, “Repay gratitude” are good moral traditions of the Vietnamese people. Based on the viewpoints of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, the Party and State of Vietnam over time have issued a number of correct guidelines and policies, contributing to improving the lives of men of revolutionary merit. Prior to 27 July 2023, up to 99% of households with men of revolutionary merit who have had a living standard equal to or higher than the average living standard of people in their place of residence. Nevertheless, every year, on the occasion of commemorating the Day of War Invalids and revolutionary Martyrs on July 27, when the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people of our country organize gratitude activities, wounded, sick soldiers, revolutionary martyrs, and revolutionary contributors on a number of websites and social networks, hostile forces have distorted tone. Struggle against those distorted and false allegations not only affirms the fine humanistic moral tradition of the Vietnamese people and the correct guidelines and policies of the Party and State, but also directly contributes to protecting the Party’s ideological foundation.
