Abstract

During the anti American resistance war for national salvation (1954 - 1975), military agitation work emerged as a powerful force in the struggle, intimately linked with political and armed efforts. It embodied the guiding principle and embraced comprehensive and widespread methods of resistance. It served as a strategic spearhead, a pivotal element in the revolutionary movement in the South, executing the call for worker-peasant-soldier unity to overthrow the rule of the new colonialists and thwart the aggressive campaign of American 
imperialism. Experience has proven that mobilizing the entire population to engage in the agitprop among enemy troops was a key factor contributing to the success of such efforts on the southern front in the anti American resistance war for national salvation
